iDigitalGo Green

Every day, thousands of electronic items reach the end of their useful lives, whether televisions, computers, stereos, printers, faxes, video games, collectively referred to as E-waste. Every one of them can be refurbished or recycled, but sadly most end up in a landfill.

Our goal

Our goal is to end that waste of equipment and the valuable resources of our planet, with our Go Green initiative that encourages customers to bring in their old and unneeded technology. This included a convenient drop space for customers to leave unwanted tech products, where we recycle or refurbish, using the most appropriate method for each item. To encourage this, we provide a gift card for each customer to be used on any of our comprehensive iDigital repair services.

In addition, our program seeks to educate customers on the value of recycling old tech, the problem of E-Waste.

What is it?

E-waste is a popular, informal name for electronic products nearing the end of their "useful life." Computers, televisions, VCRs, stereos, copiers, and fax machines are common electronic products. Many of these products can be reused, refurbished, or recycled.*1 At iDigital we use the best renewable energy sources available. We use solar panels to produce electricity. All our lights are LED. We do not use plastic bags in any way.

What the customer gets in return

Our customer gets in return a gift card to be used in any of our services as a thank you way.

How We do it

1. We accept any type of electronic device old or new. We have a convenient place for our customers to drop.
2. We will educate our clients about e-waste and why it’s necessary for nature
3. We show our clients the renewable energy that we use to power our lab.
4. All electronics parts will be recycled by considering the safest way to do so. iDigital seek to have a fully renewable energy source that anyone can rely on one
